TM Trackers
What is a Tracker?
Tracker is a device that tracks tool locations at construction sites and warehouses. It receives signals from Beacons and transmits this data via Wi-Fi or 4G GPS network, enabling real-time monitoring of tool locations within the Tool Metrica software
What types of Trackers are available?
There are two types:
- Wi-Fi Trackers: Requires manual network setup and GPS coordinate input.
- 4G GPS Trackers: Automatically determines location and connects to the internet without additional configuration.
How do I set up a Tracker?
Setting up a Tracker involves mounting it in a suitable location, connecting it to a power source, and configuring it through the Tool Metrica software. The Wi-Fi or 4G GPS module will need to be connected to your network or mobile data for real-time data transmission.
Can a Tracker work with multiple Beacons simultaneously?
Yes, a single Tracker can receive signals from multiple Beacons at once, allowing you to track several tools within its coverage area.
How accurate is the tool’s location tracking?
The accuracy of tool location tracking depends on the number of trackers installed. With three trackers set up, the position accuracy can be within 3-5 meters. If fewer than three trackers are used, the accuracy decreases accordingly.
What is the coverage radius of Tracker?
The coverage radius is 25-30 meters indoors and 40-60 meters in open areas. The signal can be affected by walls, metal structures, and other barriers.
What should I do if a Tracker loses connection?
If a Tracker loses connection, check the power supply and network connection (Wi-Fi or 4G). You may also need to reset the Tracker or contact technical support for further assistance.
Can I install a Tracker in a vehicle?
Yes, the 4G GPS Tracker is suitable for installation in vehicles. It allows you to monitor tools in real-time and also track the vehicle’s location and route.
